As a general rule, adults applying for Swedish citizenship after the new regulations come into effect will need to take the citizenship test.
Possible Exemptions
Exemptions may apply to, for example, individuals who have completed sfi (Swedish for Immigrants) course D or have certain Swedish educational qualifications. Migrationsverket (the Swedish Migration Agency) determines if you are covered by an exemption.
