Swedish Citizenship Test in Trollhättan – How to Prepare in 2026

The Test for Residents of Trollhättan
The citizenship test is a national exam – the content, number of questions, and assessment are the same whether you live in Trollhättan or any other Swedish municipality. Trollhättan is located in Västra Götaland County and has approximately 60,000 inhabitants.
The test is developed by UHR (Universitets- och högskolerådet – the Swedish Council for Higher Education). Migrationsverket (the Swedish Migration Agency) will notify you of a test date via an invitation letter once you have submitted your citizenship application.
According to UHR, the citizenship test is a multiple-choice exam with approximately 60 questions to be answered in 90 minutes. Each question has four answer options with one correct answer. The test is written in Swedish and on paper. The first test opportunity is scheduled for 15 August 2026 in Stockholm.
