The Test for Residents of Eskilstuna

The citizenship test is a national test – the content, number of questions, and assessment are the same regardless of whether you live in Eskilstuna or any other Swedish municipality. Eskilstuna is located in Södermanland county and has approximately 110,000 inhabitants.

The test is developed by UHR (Universitets- och högskolerådet – the Swedish Council for Higher Education). Migrationsverket (the Swedish Migration Agency) will assign you to a test session via an assignment letter once you have submitted your citizenship application.

According to UHR, the citizenship test is a multiple-choice exam with approximately 60 questions to be answered in 90 minutes. Each question has four answer options with one correct answer.
